Francine Pose Sketches

So I've been having a little trouble making my Predator characters in a unique style - mostly because, I have no idea what my unique drawing style is.

I've also felt the need to try and improve my drawing skills, and decided to try including an "action line" to my drawings. So I drew some random action lines, and then drew poses over them. If you don't know what action lines are, view some of these, it's where I learnt about action lines from originally:

I'm taking the poses in my sketch (as in, the ones I drew, I'm not taking poses from the sources above) and making them into proper versions, I'll be finished with the first one soon. I don't like how all of them turned out, some of them are just plain crap, but others I like the flow of, or the challenge they are going to give me to do. And some of them (like the bottom left, I've nick named "sissy-fight") are going to be just plain fun to do!

I didn't use any references to make these poses (except the information about action lines and how to use them), this session was all about practicing from memory, proportions, and trying to help me find a style. But the style thing will mostly be worked on when I do the linearts.

For anyone wondering, these are not human - their heads are drawn oval because they are Predators! Specifically, they were nade with Francine in mind (the character below).

Stalking prey, scary monster pose, well aint I stupid, eww rotten pizza

Sissy fight, couch slump, ma boi, other unfinished faces.
