Random fact: I was listening to this list of music (over and over lol) when I was colouring this:

I sucketh at colouring in photoshop. But, alas, maybe if I keep trying... I'll get better! I thought it would take me ages to get around to colouring it, but I came to a part in the story where I needed a break and so I did this. And this is the stuff I cut and pasted from the lineart's description because I'm lazy:

This is Ilgil, a Goff Weirdgirl (before anybody flames me for even making a female Ork, at LEAST read the prologue to my story (The Orks of Tam'urt) either here on DA ( [link] ) or on fanfiction.net when the entire story id posted ( [link] )).

Ilgil first makes her appearance in Chapta Firteen: Mokka's New Apprentice.

Space Orks, Warhammer, Goff Clan (c) Games Workshop.
Ilgil and "The Orks of Tam'urt" fanfiction belong to me.

Doing the lighting on the robes was indeed the most time consuming part of the image. And thanks for the fave =)

wow, with it colored you can see a LOT more of the detail, I had to look at the line art several times before I could really see what was going on. now with it colored it's instantly obvious.

I'm not good at coloring in photoshop, which is why I stick with colored pencils ;)

The dark colors are cool and I like the way that one grot tooth protrudes through his robes, Grot eyes are really flashy too, Id only suggest throwing in a black background as I suspect this is inside a cave or someplace dark and sneaky.

I was going to do some kind of background, but I got lazy lol so I left it white; but black would have probly been better, you're right. And thanks, I am glad you like the results; although Ilgil is a yoof Ork, not a grot =P But that's my fault, I made Ilgil too small, even for an Ork yoof (I really gotta practice my ratios...)

I even had to look a second time at some of more busier parts of the lineart (such as where bits of the robe over lap each other) when I was colouring it, to make sure I was colouring the right part the right colour :lol:. I had to completely erase the eyes though, that part was just impossible to colour otherwise.

I think being able to use pencils is better than being able to use photoshop :D Your pencil images are amazing!

ah I see it, I figured it was a one of them cave dwelling goblins from Warhammer vanilla, since their noted for wearing dark robes, shouldve read the description.

it took a bit for me to be able to see the face. but the color really makes it stand out
