This is my lot of Tyranids I've painted. I have many many more models, but they are either unfinished or not even put together yet... mostly because I don't want my more expensive ones to fall victim to my crappy painting skills.
Oh and I couldn't get the camera to focus properly on some of the shots... so sorry about slight blurriness here and there.
But anyway, I'll describe the photos:
Top Left: Old One Eye, side view. His rules were banned as well, so now I just plan to use him as a regular old carnifex (hiss! boo!) Top Centre: Old One Eye, front view. Top Right: Old One Eye back view. Middle Left: Group shot of termagants and gaunts (or whatever they're called...). Dude with antennas was my mutant... til they decided to ban them (dammit). Middle Right: Trio snapshot, just coz. Bottom: WAAAAGH! Oh wait, nids don't yell waaagh. Okay... RAAAAWR!
WTH is that red and white stuff...? Little explanation... I was painting my models when I saw on TV the news about Heath Ledger dieing. Then... that happened. Kinda a remorse/tribute thing? Poor old Heath, he was such a great actor.
How I painted: Old One Eye is purely dry brushed. The others are dry brushn and wads of paint lol.
Note: The bases are not done - I just randomly painted some of them! I intend to spiff them up sometime in the future.
Heya! Long time no see (although that's my fault for not going on msn very often). Oh, thanks... I could still do with some practice, I always seem to f/up the teeth on the smaller ones, and the hooves. And other little bits...

Hey now there's a huge difference between drawing something on a computer, and painting a model I bet your painted models are not as bad as you think, either. You should take some photos, and post 'em. Try and make them as clear as you can though, fuzzyness irks me (I'm real annoyed my camera wouldn't focus properly for some of my snapshots - dunno why).

Okey dokey. I'll keep bugging you till you do Do you have a digital cam? Yeah daylight's better, I find the flash tends to make the paint glisten, which spoils the details.
