I normally don't make this many journals so soon but I am quite excited. I got a phone call Saturday morning from the local bush fire brigade I've joined (volunteer run) and asked me if I could go to a Bush Firefighters course than day at 1pm at a brigade about 15 mins out of town. So, now, after very little sleep and much study, I have done the theory half of the BF course - the test and the practical half will be in a fortnight.

Once I have finished the BF course, I can go out to fires - which is good, since they are predictating yet another very busy bush fire season. I wonder if I'll be called out for a fire on my birthday . I hope nothing like the Victiorian fires happens again though. That was nothing less than catastrophic, having wiped entire towns off the map and killed quite a number of people. It was scary enough just seeing the news reports at 6am .

It's really friggin hot here already and it isn't even officailly summer yet - we already hit the 40's (celcius). My cat will need to be shaved soon, she's constantly looking withered and doing her whore-pose on the floor (lying on back, legs spread). Perfect weather for dyring clothes on the line though, that shoudl reduce the power bill

WIP for current project:

I finally found inspiration to start another big digital piece, and seeing as I've spent alot of time on Naruto art recently I decided to draw another of my Ork characters - this time it's Lillith (well that's her moon-swing alias anyway, haven't actually given her an Ork name yet). It looks kinda ugly at the moment with just base colours and some scribbles. It'll probly take ages to finish, especially if I get stuck on some new things I'm trying out (like water and fire). I'll post Lillith's biography with the image when it's finished, as well as the reason for her code name. She hasn't featured in my story yet, but she's close to making her debute.

She is a Goff though, a very... angry one. I am going to enjoy writing the chapters with her in it...

Also writing Gruntish, it's taking it's time, but I won't do more Tam'urt chapters until Gruntish is updated (the multitude of Tam'urt I recently uploaded was written over 6 months ago, just not prepared for DA until now).

Hmm, what else... oh yeah, I did end up going to Pizza Hut... 4 hours away on the coast, over night. Turns put the internet lied AGAIN. It was open alright, but it was a take-away only - the photo on the net was olde.

Gotta shave Reject again soon, she's doing her tart act on the floor again (laying on back with all legs spread). She does it when she's hot; can't blame her, with 2 inches of hair, a beer-gut and a lion's mane.

God, why. Why.All I wanted... was to go to an all-you-can eat pizza hut, just coz I felt like it and randomly really wanted to go to pizza hut. The one in my town closed years ago (we have a take-away only pizza hut now not a dine-in), so we planned a road trip for tommorow to go to one about 2 hours away up in the ranges.

But guees what?

It closed too! BAH! Google lied to me! I tried the phone number I found for "Pizza Hut Armadale" and got some old guy who didn't work for pizza hut.

Guess I should take it as a sign that I really shouldn't be going 2 hours out of my way just to pig out on junk food :C Oh well, back to drawing.

I'm hoping I haven't bitten off more than I can chew; I have my second interview for the RAAF on 10 December, and that will be the deciding factor for whether they send me a letter of offer to join the Forces. The fitness test isn't done until I get the letter of offer, and I can apparantly wait up to 12 months once I have the letter before joining, but the fitness thing... well I won't lie, it's as hard as I thought it would be and it's going very very slowly. I wish I had somone to excercise with to motivate me, butI don't - it's one battle I have to win by myself.

On a chirpier note I've joined the Rural Fire Service as a volunteer while the air force stuff is going through. I have to do bush fire training first before I can go to call-outs for fires, but hopefully it won't be long.

I'm going to Tasmania after christmas to see my parents, I may go earlier and stay for Christmas too it just depends when the bush fire training will be held. I want to go for 2 weeks, but again that also depends on a few things. Hopefully I can find out with more certainty when I will be going to Tazzie and for how long by late November.

My TAFE course is comming close to being finished, it is boring but oh well. It's almost over, thank God.

I bought Monster Hunter for the ps2, well worth the $20 I can assure you. Me and my sister also bought Final Fantasy XI online and are playing that (myself more than her). It was cheap, but it runs flawlessly on my computer. I REALLY want to play Warhammer online but thanks to the assholes at the chicken farm I no longer have the money to buy or upgrade my computer. Fuck you Biada.

I shouldn't be playing games, but it's what keeps me sane. I will do some more art isntead soon though, and try and complete another chapter of Gruntish (writing takes a certain type of mindset though and that has been rare for me lately).

Sorry again for not commenting on artworks, replying, and generally being anti-social. The internet is very low on my priority list when put up against other real life things.

Oh, and I might be going for my green P Plates today, wish me luck - I hope I don't waste my money on a failed exam.

Astroboy! Stuff! Guess what? I bought the entire 1980's Astroboy series for $40 (postage included). It had a sticker on the wrappign saying "Way more compelling than Pokemon - Entertainment Weekly" And really, that is so very true. Best cartoon ever, and the new movie is pretty good too. I give the movie 7/10 though, would have liked it even more if it was a little funnier and if the main protagonist wasn't so cliche and boring. Hope to see a sequal though, even if the Astro in the movie is not much like the original; it's got credit of it's own.

Hmm fanfics! Going to be uploading more Ork stuff soon (when I'm not lazy and have more time) as well as been working on Gruntish - I've been ten fold more busy over the short break than I though and didn't get a chance to really work on Gruntish but I will try and get some done when I can. Also going to work on the Naruto one after Gruntish is updated again.

Oh yes I am also working on a couple of icons for people; sorry it is taking so long, same with the delay for fan fic updates, I just haven't had the time - but I will do a good job of them once I do get the time, I promise.

Although several sewing endevours failed in the past for me, I decided to take a crack at making my own BK beanie bears. BK bears ("beanie kids") are the Australian brand of beanie bears (visit their site here: Skansen Beanie Kids ) and I like their appearance more so than the TY bears. Although my sister is the real avid collector, I've got a select few myself (ones that remind me of Naruto Characters). Getting back to my newest sewing project; I've bought a plain looking BK bear from Ebay which I will unstitch and make a pattern from, and go from there. My bears will probly be the ugliest things since poop was invented, but it's for my own endevours and I have no intentions of selling them (might make a few for gifts if I can get my head around sewing). And just so people don't get the wrong Idea, I'm not going to try and replicate ANY existing bear designs. I want to make my own unique ones
