I've been wanting to post this journal for sometime now, as what is mentioned here is basically the reason for not being on DA for the past few weeks (not including during and recently after christmas period; that was merely just being busy with christmasy things and stuff )

I can finally post the information now, and no it's not top secret, it's just that I couldn't post this news without my family and friends knowing about it all first; and before it was all dead certain. We just sold our house you see, and nobody was allowed to know until the contracts had been signed and exchanged; and if I posted this earlier, some of my family and friends may have read it. But they know now, so it's okay

So for those of you who don't know, here's basically what happened:

Some people came to look at the house but for once it was someone who seemed interested enough to take a second look. Eventually, they agreed to buy it, and over the past couple of weeks the contracts were signed and exchanged (so it can't fall through now, or the people will lose their deposit). Also during those couple of weeks, my sister and I along with my parents have been flat hunting; it was long and tedious, and we went searching almost everyday, but we found one and were accepted. We will sign the lease in about a week.

On top of that, the house we are in now must be vacant in 5 weeks... and there's alot of packing to do. And on top of that, we had to find my brother a place to stay, because he got into Uni, but he was doing training for the Reserves so it was all very busy. He's got a room to rent now too, after a couple of weeks of searching, and some trips to Newcastle.

I've been a bit moody because of the huge change, and really basically it wasn't the fact I didn't have time to do the art, it's more like I've been put off it; I just don't feel like doing it. The only real creative things I'm doing at the moment, is beading and writing and playing Neopets. I am sorry I can't get the art done, but it's like tryning to write with writer's block. Perhaps when I am settled again, and back into rutine, I will feel up to it again. It's my first time living away from home, and I have mixed feelings about it... but oh well, life goes on. I just hope I can still see my pets.
