It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Aerospace Engineering

I am still stunned - still not sure if maybe I read it wrong... but I think I got accepted into university!! (for aerospace engineering - bachelor of engineering) :la:

This means I might be moving to Melbourne, closer to my parents. This also means I alot of things, but well, I'll cross those bridges when the time comes.

I should also be saying "hello, I'm back! And I am in the middle of catching up on 79 conversations" :lol:

P.S. For those who don't know I got to 32K in Nano Wrimo, quitting a few days early - I gained inspirations to write a different story, and so thus though not completing the challenge, I gained much from it.

P.s.s I'll make a proper journal later after I have calmed down and stuff

Ah yes, the man hug! I like that one, but I avoid using it incase someone mistakes it for a passionate kiss (which is kinda what it looks like to me :lol: ). So I stick to the other hugs for that reason :D

Awesome, soon you'll be helping to create a interstellar starship headed to constellations that probably dont sit in the same place they are documented to.

I hope I can work on something that cool, assuming I finish university :paranoid:. As much as I am excited about it, I must also be realistic - it may prove too difficult, but there is only one way to find out.

Though I really do want to work on space craft! :eager: Science is indeed awesome; anmd thanks, I am sure I will enjoy it (except for the calculus :lol: ).
