I feel really guilty. I killed my eighbour's pot plant! I bought them a new one to replace it, but that's not the point. What if the old one had sentimental value? I was meant to be watering it while she was away... I fear the day she returns. I hope the new plant is good enough. This is like the second pot plant I've killed recently... I guess it must have to do with the fact they can't whinge for food when they need it (or water, in this case...).

Talking about plants, I pruned my garden a couple of weeks ago... aint it pretty? It was it a pretty feral state, so I hacked it back a little bit. (the car seen is not mine, it's the neighbour's).



On a completely different note, my and my sister also got some new furniture. We bought a sofa and a small table, as well as a wodden coffee table (the coffee table STILL hasn't arrived though). For a short while we had out old couch back-to-back with it, because we had no where to put it. It's gone to a new loving home now, and we just have the new couch in the loungeroom.



Aaaand... it's taken me something like 5 years to get the guts to do this, but... here's my photo! I'll probly take it down eventually, after I have a shy/paranoia break out. It was taken at Christmas, at my nan's house. Only a bust shot, no full shots I'm camera shy most of the time and don't get many photos taken. You can't really notice it in this photo, but one of my eyes is slightly turned outwards. People tend to think I'm looking at something else besides them when I'm talking to them, but thast's not the case. I also have a very poor depth perception because of that fnky eye, which although not a huge inconvenience can be a bit annoying. But who gives a crap about that




Going to more arty/DA stuff. I've been on a bit of a hiatus lately, still sort of am, but I'm getting ready to post the winners of my small comp on the 15th. I've also got to go through my inbox and check out what deviations are in there waiting for me to view them. Sorry for late replies etc, I do that alot.

OH YEAH!

I just remembered to add this! I FINALLY got a parcel I've been wating for for a couple of weeks now. EVA untis 00 and 04 are now in my possesion I bought them over the net from Kings Comics (a shop I love which is in Sydney). I also bought Evangelion manga #4, but they were out of stock so it could take another month to arrive (bastards! They could have advertised that fact on the website).

The models will be a huge help with the EVangelion artwork I'm working on, they are alot better refrences than screenshots. They are not highly posable, but as long as I have the details infront of me I can draw them anyway I want pretty much.

OH, WAIT!

I almsot forgot! I bought Spore! It's ultra fun, but unfortunately my computer cannot cope with the game after the dreature stage; it crashes. Thankfully, my sister has a new uber laptop which I can play it on, and I've almost got enough dough to buy a new computer. A few more weeks of collecting poopey eggs and I'll be back in business! Hopefully a new computer will improve how WAR runs, and then I can also install DOW 2. For now though, this decaying but faithful computer I am currently using will do. I plan to give it to my parents when I get my new computer, so that they have something which isn't full of problems and runs like a snail.
