It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

I don't know how to contact the Hotmail team, but I will try and find a way. As for AVG, what version do you have? It was the newest release which screwed my computer - and it chews way too much ram as well. It used to be really good though :C (mind you, my computer is ancient).

I tried looking for a contact button, but I couldn't find one. There was some message board I could post on, but I didn't want the whole world to see it so I just left it be. It's okay thogh, I downloaded Avast and installed it so hopefully if there is a virus on my computer it will be found

AVG is diffinatley good, I give a professional opinion but I think Avast is also good (my cousin uses it and he's a computer wiz by trade). I mostly don't use AVG because of what happened; too worried it'll cause another crash (I lost files last time that happened). Avast scan seemed to take alooooot longer, but I think it's because it uses alot less ram (hell I was able to open the web browser at the same time, and to put that in perspective I can't open CS2 and Firefox at the same time because it runs out of memory

). So overall, I think they do the same thing, it's just that Avast seems more able to work with my pitiful excuse of a computer
